Lawrence Bryant

Larry was born and raised in Greensboro, NC where he attended Grimsley High School, and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

After serving 4 Years in the United States Coast Guard, he moved to the St. Petersburg, FL area where he received a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida.

Larry had a long career as a CPA, specializing in health care facilities, and retired as the Administrative Director of a family health care clinic.

He is preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Paxton Bryant Sr., mother Ruby Driggers, and brother Wayne Bryant.

He is survived by his wife Marie Hillengas Bryant, stepson Joseph Michael Franklin of St. Petersburg, daughter Tracy Greene of Jamestown, NC, sister Kathy Bryant of Greensboro, NC, sister Elaine Biggs and nephews Jeffrey and Adam Biggs, all of Madison, NC.

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Suncoast Hospice in Larry's honor.

A celebration of life for Lawrence will be held Friday, March 24, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a fellowship gathering reception from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
