Leola “Lee” Lynch was born August 17, 1929, in Quay, Oklahoma. She passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025, in Pinellas Park, FL with family by her side.
Lee led a full life. She was the mother of four children and grandmother and great grandmother to four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and five step grandchildren. She worked a variety of jobs in her life including that of a model.
In her younger years she lived in Oklahoma, Texas, and New Jersey. In the early 1960’s she moved to the Louisville, KY area where she lived for approximately 30 years and enjoyed returning to visit family. In 1989 she moved to St. Petersburg, FL; for many years she lived a few blocks from Tampa Bay with a beautiful view from her home and enjoyed walking to a park on the water every day. Lee loved watching the families with their small children, the boats on the water and enjoying the beautiful flowers. She liked to paint; her artwork reflected the joys of nature seen all around her.
Lee was a strong, determined person; giving up was never an option for her. If there was a problem, she worked until she found an answer. She has been described as spunky and fit the dictionary definition: “courageous and determined”.
She will be missed but the happy memories of her and the strong values she passed on to her children will remain.
