Vicki you were a joy to know. Your humor matched your sense of discipline that I always admired. Your love and beautiful family is an inspiration to me. We might have never been close but you were always in my thoughts when I thought about my family. I'll miss you greatly and know you are a new angel above continuing your work to watch us all and guide us through our troubled times. Thank God for allowing you to be apart of our lives for me. ❤ you Aunt Vicki!!!

I met Vicki through our homeschooling group.  There are so many memories of park days and going of field trips.  Years later, she invited me to join her with a group of friends to grow closer in friendship.  That was a special time in my life. Our group members shared the ups and downs of life and grew very close to each other.  Our group doesn't meet anymore.  However, the ties of friendship are deep and stay with me even though I don't see my friends once a month.  It is hard to think of our group meeting for dinner again and one chair will be empty.  Steve, we are here for you and your family if you need anything.  Our family over the years, always shared fond memories of time together with your family. Dear Steve, Brent & Natalie
I am so sorry for your loss. Vicki was my first playmate growing up in St. Pete. She lived on Pershing St. and I lived on Hobson, just 4 blocks away.  I remember riding bikes, playing make believe and finally going to Holy Family School together.  She was one of the kindest, sweetest and most gentle person I have ever met.  We never forgot each other and although it would be years in between seeing each other, we were always friends.  My fondest memory is meeting up with her and Terry McConnen Costello at a USF Basketball game.  I was pregnant with my son and she was so excited for me!  It's truly wonderful memory.

My condolences for you all.  She will truly be missed.

I met dear Vicki when I home schooled my children Rachel and Stephen.  I was immediately drawn to her sweet spirit and silliness! She always gave me a lot of love and support throughout the good & bad times of the teenage years with my daughter.  There was a time when my daughter and I became estranged, and when we found our way back to each other, I remember telling Vicki.... her eyes filled with tears because she was TRULY happy for me... that is how much she cared!! She loved DEEPLY!! She loved with every fiber of her being! My heart is broken for her sweet family... Steve, Brent, Natalie, I know she will be smiling down on you until you meet again! Jesus will hold her in His loving arms forever!! Love to all of you, Jeanne 

Dear Mr.O, Natalie and Brent,
      I can’t even begin to say how sorry I am and how much I’m thinking of you guys and praying for you all. You all mean so much to me and Miss O meant so much to me. 

I think one of my first memories of her was when I went to the movies with my Mom, Natalie and her. We saw Nancy Drew together and I remember Miss O sneaking in candy in her purse for us to eat because the movie concessions were way too pricey (which they are). And I knew she was a cool Mom from that moment and she kept proving that to me as the years went on.

Through high school I hit some really rough patches. High school was hard for me but whenever I reflect on it, I am reminded of how great a friend Natalie and Miss O both were to me. She really acted like my second Mom to me. I remember sleeping over and hanging out with Natalie one night and I don’t remember what the incident was exactly but I remember breaking down and crying about something going on in my life and Miss O just hugged me tight and kept stroking my hair until I calmed down and stopped. I’ll never forget that moment and I’ll always treasure that memory. I felt cared and loved.

Ever since high school, I know I haven’t been that great about keeping in touch except for a few well wishes and Facebook comments here and there and for that I’m deeply regretful. I wish I had reached out more. I wish I had kept up with her more. I’m sorry I haven’t. I know in my heart I’ll always consider and have her as my second Mom and I can tell you guys that I’ve never ever met someone who has treated me like a second daughter the way she has and I’m forever grateful for that and for her. 

Although years pass and things change, I hope you guys know that I love you all and I treasure you all and I’m thankful for you all. You’re in my hearts and on my mind.  I’m so sorry for your loss.


Dear Steve, Natalie and Brent, We can not begin to express our sadness after hearing of your sweet mom’s passing! Our hearts are just breaking for you! Natalie and Brent, we have known your dad for a very long time and we can not begin to tell you how happy your dad was when he met and fell in love with your mom! We were just so overjoyed that he found the love of his life! 
I loved following  Vicki’s post on Facebook,and family was everything to her. Vicki was so proud of her family and the accomplishments of her sweet children. Her passion for her Lord was also so evident in everything she shared with others! She was a very, very ,very proud wife and mother.
We are so sorry that she didn’t get the chance to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse. She would have made such a difference in so many lives.
We wish we could take the pain away but we can’t and we wish we could explain to you why this happened but again we can not. We do promise to keep you in our thoughts and most of all in our prayers. We will bathe you in prayer and ask God to give you the strength and comfort to get you through one day at a time. You have so many who are hurting with you and we are here if you need us for anything at all.
We love you and again are just so very sorry.

Vicki always made me feel welcome and loved.  We had some years which overlapped as Home School moms. Loved our park days and special times together.  I will miss her. So glad I had the privilege of knowing this beautiful, compassionate woman. Love and prayers to all her family and friends.
 

I would like to send my deepest sympathy to Steve and the Osburn's friends and family.     No amount of words can express the pain that you are going through.  My family and I will continue to pray for all of you and hope you are able to find strength during this dark time.  May God bless and comfort you.

I have so many fond memories with Vicki. I think some of the most memorable are of rescuing a few nests of baby squirrels over the years.  She is one of the kindest, caring and faithful women I have had the privilege of knowing.  I will miss her dearly but also find comfort in knowing that she is in the loving arms of The Lord.
