

Evelyn Lucille Haller, 93, passed away on August 18, 2015 in Sugar Land, TX. Evelyn was born in Moatsville, West Virginia on September 1, 1921 to Laura (Pansy) Bolyard and Commodore Dewey Bolyard. She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Forest Haller, sister Margaret Herndon, and brothers: Verlon, Junior and Wes Bolyard. Survived by daughter Deborah Haller, son Glenn Haller and wife Aurora Haller, grandchildren Peter & Ban Haller, Consuelo Haller, Jason & Luciana Pirkey, Darin & Gina Pirkey, Maria Haller, Anna & Dennis Haller-Guiwan, Daniel Koelsch, 8 great-grandchildren and sister Violet Jones.
She was a very compassionate, witty, kind-hearted person that had a unique sense of humor that brightened everyone’s day. She never wanted to be a burden to anyone and thought of everyone else before herself. Everyone that met her said she was a very sweet lady.
Evelyn worked at McDonald’s in Bel Air, Maryland. They even had an “Evelyn Haller” day for her and a large retirement ceremony celebrating her 22 years there.

A Memorial Visitation will be held Thursday, August 27, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m., Earthman Southwest Chapel, 12555 South Kirkwood, Stafford.
A Memorial Mass will be held, Friday, August 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., St Theresa Catholic Church, 705 St. Theresa Blvd, Sugar Land.
