Jeannette Jalufka Evans went to be with the Lord Friday, May 11, 2018. Jeannette was born in Moulton, Texas November 7, 1929. She was the daughter of Emil and Claudia (Hruska) Jalufka. Jeannette grew up and attended school in Moulton. In 1963 she married the love of her life, Harry Evans. Harry was a pilot in the Air Force and they lived several places before moving to Houston. Harry and Jeannette were original owners of their home in Glenshire and had many friends there. Jeannette was a founding member of St. Albert Church. She was also a member of the Memorial Women’s Club, Streamliners, Lifeline, the Military Officers Association of America and the Retired Military Wives Club in Houston.
Jeannette was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harry, and a brother Claude Jalufka and a sister Marilyn Jalufka. She is survived by a brother Daniel and his wife JoAnn, step children Margaret Lingor, Virginia Colbert, and Harry Evans Jr., grandchildren Kristin, Matthew, David, and Todd, and their children, sister-in-law Angeline Jalufka, many nephews, nieces, and friends including a very close friend Flor Anderson.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 17 from 5 pm until 8 pm with a Rosary at 6:30 at Earthman Southwest 12555 S Kirkwood. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 10:30 at St. Albert Church 11027 S. Gessner Rd. with burial to follow at the St Joseph Cemetery in Moulton, Texas.
