Kaylee Michelle Castillo

Kaylee MIchelle Castillo was granted her angel wings on October 6th 2015, following a two year battle with cancer. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Kaylee touched in some small way throughout her short, yet very memorable life.

Kaylee's life would seem too short for many, but those who were touched by her understand that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. She could melt the heart of others with her warm smile and gentle eyes.

Although Kaylee's illness made her appear frail, she possessed strength, perseverance, and an ability to overcome incredible odds and physical challenges. With her courage she led us to believe that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories. She enjoyed music, sleeping late, and reading stories. She loved all shades of pink but what she loved the most was to praise God with her dances. She enjoyed playing with her little brother Joshua and Dog Chico.

With Kaylee's passing we remind others that her life is one to be celebrated. Although we will miss her everyday, especially her smile. She will forever remain in our hearts. Through her teachings about life, we were able to create wonderful memories and it has been a privilege to be in her life.
