Born and raised in Chicago Illinois, a U.S. Navy veteran, he was a 1949 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Engineering. Martin and his wife of 64 years, Fay were long-time residents of Sandy Springs, Georgia. Most recently he reside da the Sycamores in Sugar Land, Texas.
Marty to his friends an family, had a successful career in construction equipment sales for Northwest Engineering and retired from Stith Equipment Company. In his retirement, Marty enjoyed golf, fishing, and spending time with his wife Fay and family.
Marty is preceded in death by his wife Fay and survived by his son Peter of Sugar Land, Texas; granddaughters, Marion and Kristin and by his son Martin, Jr. and wife Sandra of Edgewood, New Mexico. He will be interred beside his wife in a private ceremony at the Arlington Memorial Cemetery in Sandy Springs, Georgia.
