Romelia was a founding member of Iglesia Bautista Townwood and remained a vital part of the church’s ministry until she went to be with her Lord. Her main passion was spending time with her Savior, and it was demonstrated in the countless hours she spent in prayer daily, in the presence of God.
Romelia loved people. She invested a good part of her day ministering and praying for people over the phone. People locally, from all over the U.S., as well as internationally benefitted from the intercessory prayer ministry of this wonderful prayer warrior.
Romelia was also passionate about sharing her faith. One year, she set a goal of witnessing to one hundred people; she met and surpassed her goal! However, the most important thing for her, besides her Lord, was her family. She was constantly in touch with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many other family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gabriel R. Cisneros; her parents, Pedro Frias and Maria David de la Rosa; her brothers, Teo Frias and Kestel Frias. Romelia was blessed by a large and loving family and is survived by her sons, David Cisneros, Teo Cisneros, and Eleazar Cisneros; her daughters, Leticia Soriano, Damaris Gabriela Rodriguez, Ruby Fraga, and Romelia Santos; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; and her brother, Ricardo Aldape.
Countless lives were blessed by her caring and loving spirit. She will be immensely missed; but her service to the Lord, acts of kindness, and fervent spirit, will continue to bear fruit for generations to come, for the glory of God.
“Then I heard a voice from heaven say,
“Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.”
“Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.”
(Rev. 14:13)
