

Rona A. Harrow, known lovingly as Rone, departed this life on June 16, 2024, in Houston, Texas, at the age of 74. Born on November 18, 1949 in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, she lived a life marked by generosity, care, and creativity.
A proud graduate of Mt. Zion High School, where she met her high school sweetheart Derick Henry. That union would later produce her only son Roger Henry. Rona would soon leave Jamaica and move to New York where she met and married Renato Webb. The two welcomed a baby girl, Iesha Webb and move to Houston, Texas. It was there Rona furthered her education by attending vocational school for cosmetology, a field where she would later excel professionally as she would ultimately, become a licensed cosmetologist. As a licensed cosmetologist, she brought beauty and joy to her clients. Prior to retiring, she was a Home Health Aide. Her career included roles as a PBX Operator, in Jamaica, a receptionist at the acclaimed Shamrock Hilton.
Rona's selflessness was at the core of her being. Renowned for her hospitality, she often hosted gatherings for family and friends, serving bountiful meals with warm invitations that would often say, "What are your plans for the day? You should come by I cooked a little bit of everything". Her creativity extended beyond her professional life into her personal interests, where she fashioned her clothing with stylish flair and repurposed everyday items with innovation and resourcefulness. Rona's love for music and dance infused energy and joy into any gathering, making her the heart of every celebration.
An enthusiast of crafting, cooking, and baking, Rona's hobbies were a testament to her artistic spirit. She was a light in times of darkness, always ready with a humorous tale or a comforting word, and her vibrant storytelling could captivate any audience.
Rona is lovingly remembered by her son, Roger Henry (Kristine Henry) daughter, Iesha Webb (Marlon Perrin),sister, Rose Harrow, and cherished grandchildren, Roquell Henry, Iesha Henry, Dominique Simmons, Roxanne Vonner (Marlon Vonner), Rachel Henry, Jayrell Reynolds(Cheyanne Means) Miranda Perrin, Mariah Perrin, great grandchildren, Colby McCarter, Kynnedy Frank, Rory Simon, Emery Vonner, Souline Reynolds, and her nieces, Natifya Gabay(San Juan), Ayanna Gabay and her extended family of great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She enters into rest preceded by her dear parents Oscar and Veronica Harrow. Her vivacious personality and her talents as an extraordinary host will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
The arrangements for Rona's farewell have been entrusted to, Earthman Southwest Funeral Home. Her life will be celebrated and honored in a manner befitting her bright and affectionate nature. The family extends their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this time.
A celebration of life for Rona will be held on Saturday, June 29 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home, 12555 South Kirkwood Road in Stafford.
Immediately following, all are invited to gather with the family and share remembrances of Rona during a reception to be held at 2:00 p.m. at Cool Runnings Jamaican Grill, 8270 W. Bellfort Avenue, Houston, Texas 77071.
