Satchi David

Mr. David received a radiology degree from Christian Medical Hospital in Vellore, India. He practiced radiology in India, Kenya, Tanzania and the United States. He was employed for over 15 years in the Texas Medical Center: initially with Methodist Hospital and then St. Luke's Hospital. After a successful career in radiology, He pursued various entrepreneurial enterprises, including real estate, pharmacies and a locksmith business. Mr. David's personal passions included being a voracious reader, avid gardener - especially his rose bushes - and a lifelong love of South Indian classical music.

Mr. David is survived by his wife, Kavery David; his sons, Vinod David & Anand David; his daughter in law, Geetanjali Gohal David; grandchildren, Simran Alexandra David and Jai Aryan David. He is also survived by his brother: Kadamba David and family of Baltimore, Maryland; sisters, Kamala, Kasthuri & Punita of South India.

A Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 PM, Thursday, October 13, 2011, New Hope Lutheran Church, 1424 FM 1092, Missouri City. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. David’s to the American Heart Association or to any children’s charity.
