He was born on March 27, 1949 in Germany the son of the late Stanislaw and Agniska (Jaje) Kopec. He was a retired Staff Sergeant from the US Marine Corp. Following his military service, he retired from the US Postal Service.
Survivors include his loving wife of 32 years, Jacqueline “Jackie” Kopec; one son, Alexander Kopec, Jr serving in the US Air Force stationed in Goldsboro, NC.
Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11:00am Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, VA.
