

He was born in Dayton, Ohio and was the second of four children to the late Oscar and Sofia Ogg.
After graduating from Trotwood-Madison High School he attended Ohio State University before enlisting in the U.S Navy in 1967. He served in the navy for 23 years. First, serving on the USS Kamehameha SSBN642 before being accepted into the Navy Enlisted Scientific Education Program.
After earning a BS degree in Engineering Physics from the University of Louisville in 1977, he was commissioned an Ensign in the United States Navy. In 1983, he earned a master’s degree in Underwater Acoustics from the Naval Post Graduate School in Monterey, California.
He retired from the Navy in 1990 as a Lieutenant Commander. He was later employed with Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) for 23 years, retiring in 2013.
Brad is survived by his wife of 56 years, Diane Ogg; their two sons, Todd Bradley and Christopher Corey; his sister, Johanna Bates of Georgia, and his brother, Vincent Ogg of Dayton, Ohio.
A visitation for Bradley will be held Monday, November 18, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel. His celebration of life will begin at 11:00 AM with his burial to follow at Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Road, Triangle, VA.
