Chris was a passionate soul. He loved hard and wanted to be loved hard. His loyalty and belief in the good of people was unrivaled. He was generous and thoughtful, regularly giving back to charities and people in need.
He enjoyed anything related to the water... a trait of all Millesons. His favorite destination was Key West. He enjoyed boating, jet skis, swimming, floating, just looking at water, and fishing. Growing up he wanted to be a marine biologist, so he could swim with and study dolphins. He loved dolphins so much that he adopted the Miami Dolphins as his second favorite NFL football team after the Redskins-now Commanders.
School wasn't ever Chris' favorite thing, so after High School he went into the Army where he served in the Gulf War. His grandfather was a career Army man, a distinguished soldier (and Lt. Colonel) who Chris always idolized. Chris enjoyed jumping out of helicopters there, but not always being told what to do. He never liked being told what to do, really, so the perfect next step was to start his own company. Chris followed in the footsteps of our older brothers and went into the automotive trade, where he spent decades working hard and building multiple, highly-successful businesses.
As an adult, Chris stayed much like a big kid at heart and not much made him happier than the times he was able to spend with his children. Three girls, Presleigh, Rylyn, and Anessa--they all look different but so much like Chris. He loved to take them to Disney World, or fishing/camping/four wheeling/skiing, or some other adventure when together. He also loved staying home and making elaborate meals and watching movies. Chris was a great cook and he really loved food, traveling, and shopping. Another passion for Chris was cars and motorcycles.
Chris got married this year to his beautiful wife, Alana, they were both inseparable and shared many of his passions as one soul. In that marriage he gained three step children, Brett, Levi and Kora. And now Chris’s soul still lives on through Alana.
Chris was preceded in death by his mother, Leslie.
A visitation for Christopher will be held Sunday, July 23, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 186 Shelton Shop Rd, Stafford, Virginia 22554, followed by a celebration of life at 4:00 PM.
