He was the son of the late Curtis W. and Virginia Beatty.
He is survived by his wife, Georgann; daughter, Kim (Brian) Foster of Stafford; son, Martin (Callie) Beatty of Texas; sister, Lois Breckenridge of Locust Grove; grandson, Curtis; along with his nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 12 pm on Saturday, September 10 at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel where a visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
