I had the joy and pleasure of teaching Jason over the past two year in gym class. Jason was an absolute sweetheart, always coming to class with a big hug and a ever bigger smile. He had a heart of gold, always asking if we needed anything or asking other students if they were doing okay he always was there for everyone, all the time. I will always keep a special place for Jason in my heart! 💙

Jason loved coming to school and made many friends with his joyful personality. He cared about his peers and he made so many  of his friends smile and laugh. At morning meeting, he would tell stories about his family and the fun things they did together. He had a positive attitude and was respectful and kind. Jason would greet the staff at school and he gave us all compliments and hugs.  I am going to miss him and I am heartbroken. I am so sorry you lost your beautiful and sweet boy.

Jason is going to be missed terribly. He was in my small math group and I absolutely love having him around, always happy and smiling. Jason loved his classmates and teachers always talking about his family, and how much he loved his sisters and brother.  My thoughts and prayers to his family and friends, I will always remember him and miss him. God bless.

Jason would always laugh and smile when we had music class.  Each time he came to music he would do his very best and he had such a caring heart. He was always a joy to be around and he made others feel joy right away when you would meet him. I love you Jason and you are missed dearly.

Jason was my cousin and the sweetest little boy i knew, when he would come over to my house he would give me and my grandma the biggest bear hugs. 
He was the most energetic kiddo and will be missed greatly.

Jason was the sweetest boy.  He was kind,  friendly, and  he gave the best hugs.  I retired from SES in June 2022 from teaching Kindergarten.  He always greeted me with the best smile and a hello when i was there last year.   Then when  I returned to sub at SES this year, Jason told me he was happy that I subbed in his first grade classroom. I’ll always remember your son.  he was so special.  Sending thoughts and prayers to his family. 

I am a teacher at SES and work next door to Jason’s classroom.  I got to know Jason at recess.  He made his daily rounds at recess giving all of the teachers the best hugs!  He was one of the sweetest and kindest kids I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing.  He will be missed greatly!  I found the attached picture from our Fun Run and think it captured his sweet spirit perfectly.  We love you Jason!

I am a teacher at SES and I met Jason on his first day of Kindergarten. He was friendly and sweet from day one and always had a hug or a compliment for me when I saw him every day. I also work in Mrs. Link’s class this year and we have been praying for him and were so devastated when we got the news. He was truly one of the most kind boys who touched my heart from day one. There was never a morning when he wasn’t smiling and greeting others as he walked down the hall to class. We miss him and mourn with you. 

I knew Jason/ Bigfoot as we had gave him this nickname I would stop by to visit my brother and Jason lived next door him and his brother and sister would come over to greet us every time and Jason would keep us laughing the whole time !! There was never a dull moment with Jason. He was a good kid, funny, energetic, and he didn’t care about what people thought that’s what I liked about him he would always be himself he would come up and hug you just out of nowhere. Gonna miss my little buddy Bigfoot.!!! May god hold you in his loving arms .. we will miss you !!! 


Dear Family
My daughter even though not in Jason’s class knew him from recess and having lunch with him in the cafeteria. 
My daughter took the news very hard and was completely devastated. 
She will tell me stories about the caring friend he was and how he will give bear hugs. Norah talked about  his kindness often in our household that I felt like I knew him too. I am so sorry for your tremendous lost. I pray for your family the peace which surpasses all understanding. May you have comfort knowing he is in the arms of his loving father in heaven. I will keep your family in my prayers for God to give you guys the strength to go through this difficult time.

Our Hearts are broken.  We gave Jason a nickname of BigFoot and he loved it. Every time we drove up to see my brother in law who lives right next door he would come out and see us. My name is Abby Griffith, and I was Jason’s morning bus driver. I am so saddened by the loss of Jason. He was such a sweet boy. He always looked happy to see me every morning and gave me a smile. He even gave me a sweet hug one day as he got off the bus and headed into school. I loved seeing him and his dog Manny in the morning. One morning Manny almost hopped on the bus too! I will truly miss Jason and his sweet smile. My heart and prayers go out to your family.
