Jesse Noble Dobson Sr.

Jesse was born on 16 August 1945 in Washington DC, son of the late Noble Owings Dobson and Shirley Irene Belcher. He was a graduate of Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO. Jesse was a faithful, loyal servant of God and practiced ministry for 30+ years, ministering to Nursing Homes, prisons and anywhere he could preach the word. Jesse loved collecting coins and stamps, 50’s music and Doo Wop records. Jesse enjoyed traveling, hiking, studying and visiting US historic sites, taking in all of God’s beauty. His time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, were the most precious moments to him.

He married Sarah Josephine Krouse on March 25, 1972.

Surviving with his wife of 50 years is a son, Micah Davis Dobson and his wife, Daisy; grandchildren, Xena Galston, Alexis Dobson, David Dobson, and Aaliyah Ronda; and great grandchildren, Joshua Puckett Jr, Miles Galston, and Oliver Galston.

A son Jesse Noble Dobson Jr and his wife Martina; grandchildren, Jennifer Hodge, Jeffery Dobson, and Jessica Stephenson; and great grandchildren, Braxton Hodge, Brinley Hodge, Norah Dobson, Ty Wadkins, Tristin Wadkins, and Bailey Wadkins.

A daughter Karen Lisa Levinson and her husband Stephen; grandchildren, Elizabeth Ford, Emily Savage, Joshua Levinson, Caleb Levinson, Carolina Levinson, Dallas Levinson, Dakota Levinson, and Cayden Levinson; and great grandchildren, Benjamin Ford, Claire Ford, Abigail Ford, Craven Ford, Sarah Ford, William Savage, Jake Savage, August Levinson, Eloise Levinson, Harris Levinson, Oliver Levinson and Sawyer Levinson.

Along with his parents, Jesse was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Alan Beall, Milton Russell Beall, and David Martin Dobson.

A Memorial Service will be from 2 P.M. to 3 P.M. on Saturday, July 2nd, at Rock Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Mickey Creed officiating. A reception will follow the memorial service at Rock Hill Baptist Church, 12 Van Horn Ln, Stafford, VA 22556.
