We were all so saddened to learn of your passing.  Thank you for being such a wonderful neighbor to my mom and dad. We will never forget your kindness.  Rest in peace.


The first time I met you, you had me laughing so hard I almost cried. You were always quick with a comment and always good for a laugh. Although Uncle Tommy and Nan, God rest their souls, were the brunt of your ribbing, you know they enjoyed it as much as we all did. We couldn't get through a family holiday without you giving Nan a hard time about her cooking or without hiding Uncle Tommy's hat, I'm laughing as I type this. I laugh thinking about how you always made your way to the chair in the living room for your post Thanksgiving Dinner snooze, then you'd wake up and say "I wasn't sleeping".  Always smiling, always joking, that's how I remember you. We will miss you and we love you.

I was told you were gone. Where did you go? I miss you. I miss you driving up with the convertible, top down Sasha freezing in 40 degree weather. I miss the "Lasagna Master" putting together a pan of pasta. I miss the sparkle in you eyes and the  beam of your smile after an exceptional round of golf. I miss the hearty "Hello" and the affections you show to your family and friends. I miss the joy you have when you tell me about the family, the big grin when you tell a joke. I was told you are gone, but I will always have those memories of you John.

John I write this with a heavy heart.  Every weekend you asked me if I wanted to play in your group and it meant so much to me.  You shared your wisdom of the game with anyone who would listen.  You not only cared about my golf game but you also cared about my family life which means so much more.  While I only met you this past year I will remember the times we shared for the rest of my life.  Thank you for sharing that wonderful smile and providing so much for everyone around you.

John it was a blessing  to have known you our golf association won't be the same without you rip buddy and smile down on us you will be truly missed...
