Pam was born on December 13, 1952, in Cherry Point, NC. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend. Above all else, Pam cherished her family. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Tim; her three daughters, Nicole Neal, Summer Neal, and Brooke Mizener (son-in-law Ray Mizener). She also leaves behind her stepchildren, Katie Yandle (grandchild Peyton Everly) and Rachel Svoboda who she cared for dearly; nine grandchildren (Mike, Faith, Trevor, Catherine, Timmy, Patton, Adelaide, Morgan, and Raven), and one great granddaughter (Violet); her three siblings William (Billy) Burrow, Barbara Melton, and Vickie Sullivan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Lucky. Pam was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Carolyn (Hunter) Burrow.
She touched the lives of everyone she met with her warmth, kindness, unwavering love, and her sense of humor. She was caring, loving, and nurturing towards others which started at an early age as the eldest of her three siblings.
Pam was a doer. If you wanted something done, everyone knew Pam would help take care of it! She had an active role in her church serving in various positions and on committees. She volunteered at her daughter’s and grandchildren’s schools – even substituted teaching while living in Guam. She dedicated her time selflessly and fiercely for those she loved. She was a loving mother and everyone’s biggest cheerleader. Pam always had your back!
Pam was very active and enjoyed taking long walks with her dog Lucky, doing yoga, Pilates and Barre among other things. Pam was also blessed with a green thumb; she enjoyed gardening and was revered for her ability to find multiple four-leaf clovers in any clover patch. Next to gardening, Pam loved to bake, she poured her love into delivering decadent birthday cakes and will forever be remembered for her Hummingbird cakes.
One of her greatest joys was traveling with her devoted and faithful husband. Pam and Tim had many great adventures during their 28 years of marriage. They were blessed to enjoy being stationed in Guam and scuba diving in some of the richest coral reef marine environments in the world. They were also lucky to regularly cruise the islands of the Caribbean and had a special place in their hearts for the Bahamas.
Pam will forever remain in our hearts, and her legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire us all. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
May she rest in peace.
