I’m so sorry to hear the passing of Pat Dayfield. She was such an inspiration to all whom met her. Such a loving heart and a true stern and respected human. My family will miss her dearly. I send a hug to you my friend. Rest easy. Hoping Ben is chatting with you about this world we live in. Be kind he says. Take interest and educate yourself. I agree. Miss your sweet mom. ❤️❤️

I met Pat in 1989 when I started at Widewater Elementary school and she was my ‘mentor’ teacher helping me learn the ropes of Stafford schools.  We worked hard teaching fifth grade, but we also had great fun together!  Pat taught me CRISS strategies and it changed my teaching; I’ll be forever grateful to her for sharing her ideas and teaching techniques with me; always selfless helping her fellow teachers and ensuring that students experienced success.  Pat remained a friend throughout the years.  Her family was her priority and she loved them all.  She enjoyed helping her grandchildren learn and she was proud of them.  I will always cherish the friendship we had and the years we spent teaching together.

Pat was my friend of over 20 years.  She helped me get into the Educational field and mentored me as a teacher.  We use to cook for my church as well.  We would go to Chico’s(they knew us by our names. Haha) and shop and then head over to Costco to get our groceries.  The next day we would get to church around 9am and cook all day and serve a meal for 150 at times!
  She loved her family; especially her grandchildren!  She would talk about her family in her younger years dearly.  Some knew her as Trish Ann; some as Petie and others professionally as Pat.  But no matter what name you knew her by, she was loving, generous and easy to be with.  I will miss you my friend so much.

Peti was such a wonderful person and sister-in-law. She was always one of Katzy’s (Robert’s Mom) favorite. I have many fond memories of times spent with her and in particular when she, Robert and Hallie came to Oregon.
When Paul (my husband) passed on almost 3 years ago Peti and I talked a lot as she comforted and understood my loss. She would always mention her love for Robert, as well as the rest of the family, and how much she missed him. I feel some comfort now knowing they are all together healthy and happy again.

I have such fond memories of Trish from our childhood years.  Trish was a sweet caring individual and beautiful inside and out.  I can’t help but chuckle as I remember us girls lying in bed at the house in Beaver telling scary stories. The last time I saw her was at Wayne’s memorial service.  My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Aunt Petey was the most loving and selfless person that a nephew could ever have. She opened her heart to me when others turned away...she welcomed myself and my wife Kelly into her home unconditionally, in our time of need, that will never be forgotten. RIP Aunt Petey, with Uncle Robert and cousin Benji. I'll see you on the other side.
