Terry Lynne Galan

Terry Lynne (Laudenslager) Galan, 69, of Stafford County passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024 at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville, Va. She was surrounded by her loving family when she passed. .

Terry grew up in Widewater. She was a 1973 graduate of Stafford Senior High. Baking was her passion. In recent years, Terry, was the proud owner/operator of Keepin’ It Sweet, where she made and sold her baked goods. She was affectionately called 'The Brownie Lady' by her customers.

Terry is survived by her husband, Dennis W. Galan; three children, Sherry R. Neal (Larry), Matthew J. Werner (Katie) and Dennis W. Galan II; three grandchildren, Larry Neal II (Rachael), Zachary T. Neal (Linnette), and Sierra M. Werner; three siblings, Janice E. Denny (Jerry), John D. Laudenslager (Sona) and Rosie Laudenslager-Moore (Ricky).

She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, her very special friend Debbie Belcher, and a myriad of family and friends. Terry was preceded in death by her parents, Paul F. (Dutch) Laudenslager and Rose L. Laudenslager, and her brother, Paul D. (Butch) Laudenslager.

The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service,186 Shelton Shop Road, Stafford, Va. A service will be held at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Aquia Episcopal Church Cemetery, 2938 Richmond Highway, Stafford, Va.

There will be a reception hosted by the family at the Widewater Fire & Rescue Dept, Co. 3., 749 Widewater Road, Stafford.
