Anna Nocerino passed away peacefully at the Stamford hospital on October 7, 2011. She was born July 8, 1920. She was the daughter of the late Annunziata and Louis Primato. Anna was predeceased by her husband Jerry Nocerino. Anna is survived by her two children Teresa Benedetto and her husband Joseph, and Nancy Tersigni. She is survived by five grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Anna lived at the Atria in Stamford. Anna loved to crochet, knit and sew. She made the blankets for the maternity ward at the Stamford Hospital. In her younger days she loved to bowl. She loved to spend time with her family. Recently her great grand-daughter Olivia Grace brought a ray of sunshine in her life.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday October 12, 2011 at St. Leos Church 24 Roxbury Rd, Stamford, CT 06902 at 10am. Burial will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury Long Island.
