Anne was born on September 25, 1920 in East St. Louis, Illinois, Anne Marie Kastner was the youngest of five children. She attended parochial school for eight years and later graduated from East St. Louis High School in June of 1938. Losing her father at age 13, her oldest brother, Fred, became a mentor and guardian.
Anne was active in the USO during WW II and met her husband, Robert, in 1943. They were married on September 21, 1946 and had two sons, David and Douglas. She remained a devoted wife until Robert's death in November, 2007.
Anne will always be remembered as a devoted wife and mother who was generous, kind and spirited with a wonderful sense of humor. Burial will be held privately.
