Edna N. Blackman, age 97, a longtime resident of Norwalk, CT passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Maplewood at Danbury Assisted Living where she resided since January 2018. Born in Northern England to the late John and Agnes Noble, she was predeceased by her husband of 71 years, David H. Blackman, Jr., and her sister, Joan Iddion of Lancaster, England. She is survived by her son, Matthew N. Blackman of Stamford, CT. Funeral arrangements are through Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer St., Stamford, CT. There will be no Calling Hours and a burial service will be held at Fairfield Memorial Park Cemetery, Oaklawn Avenue, Stamford, CT on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
