

Erwin (Bibi) Michael Osorio, 56, of Shelton, CT passed away December 17, 2017 surrounded by his family at St Vincent Hospital. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico on October 3, 1961 and raised in Stamford, CT. He graduated from Rippowam High School in Stamford -(1979). Joining the USMC in 1980 and discharged as a Lance Corporal USMC in 1983. He earned Rifle Sharpshooter, Sea Service deployment ribbons, the Navy Unit Citation, and a Good Conduct Medal. He later joined the Stamford Fire Rescue in 1990 until his retirement in 2016. His time with the Stamford Fire Department was the proudest and most fulfilling time of his life. He loved spending time with family and close friends at sporting events, barbeques and any situation where good times and plenty of laughter was present. He was there to take it all in with a smile which lit up any room and everywhere he went. Bibi had such an ability to create unique memories that will be part of his legacy for his family and friends. Bibi is survived by his son Michael, daughter Natalie, wife Wendy, mother Margarita, sister Marjorie, brother-in-law Alvaro and nieces Kellie and Casey Gordon and his God Sister Adriana Tutillo. He is predeceased by his father Marcial Osorio. A Stamford Fire Department Honor Guard and Walk-Through for the Viewing will be held at Leo P Gallagher’s Funeral Home on 2900 Summer Street, Stamford CT 06905 on Friday December 22nd from 4p-8p. The burial will be held on Saturday with a service to be held at Leo P. Gallagher at 10:30AM, to be followed by a procession to Queen of Peace cemetery at 124 Rock Rimmon Road, Stamford, CT 06903.
