Mike and Michael,
I was very saddened to learn of Gail's passing. Although we lost touch over the years, I always thought of her and remembered all the good times we had together growing up. Especially when all the Nielsen cousins got together. I will miss her very much and keep you both in my thoughts as you go thru this difficult time.

Mike i am very sorry for you and sons lose.Gail is in a better place now and no more pain. Be stronge and know that all of your friends and family are there for you. Cancer is a very hard thing to go threw for the whole family, we just have to learn not to be selfish for the ones we love and know that they are in a much better place now and thank god that there struggle is over along with there pain, we all love you mike and anything you need please do not hesitate to ask, you cuz Anthony Sandalo and family, our deepest thoughts go out to you and your son.

Mike and Michael, we just heard and we are heartbroken. We have such fond and fun memories of the times we shared with you all. I know that there was nothing in this world that Gail was prouder of then her son and her husband. When I reflect on the bond I witnessed between Gail and you, Mike, it was more than apparent that you and she were true life partners. As hard as this is for you, you must take solace in knowing that she is at peace with no more suffering. Please, let us know if there is anything at all that you need. We love you! My deepest sympathies to Mike and Michael.  You guys were her world and I can't even imagine what you are going through right now. I had a few nicknames for Gail.....  "Hoof" and "Steerage" and I can't believe I'll never say those words to her again.  Nobody could make me laugh like she did.  She had the most wicked sense of humor and the biggest heart.  She took care of everyone.  She fought a valiant fight and I hope there's a Capital Grille in heaven & she's sitting down enjoying a nice juicy steak and watching Jerry Springer! Rest in peace, my friend.  I will miss you more than words can say.  I know you'll be watching over Your Boys every day, but take a "trip" to Bermuda every once in awhile, to feed your soul. Gail was beautiful through and through.  Every one of her thoughts was pleasant and positive.  We all have lost a very special person.  We grieve along with her husband and son and if there is even one positive thing that has come from this horrible loss it is that Gail is now in a much better place.  We will miss her.

It's hard to put feelings into words....Gail was a great friend, an excellent co-worker, a wonderful mother, a devoted wife.  She always had a bright outlook to life and while she was going through her battle with cancer, she still had hope in her heart that some day she would be back to her ol'self again.  I'll miss her friendly face, the way she would come around a corner almost on two wheels some days,while singing and playing Bon Jovi on the radio.  Her love of fine food and fine dining.  Her strive for pefection in her job and the way she always made everyone at work feel that each were important and special. She would always offer assistance and a helping hand.  She was thoughtful and considerate. Always looking at the glass half full vs half empty.  Heaven will be a much better place with her there and those of us left behind will miss her terribly.  My prayers go to Michael and Mike - I know she will be watching over you.

Although we have lost a beautiful person here on earth, we have gained a true angel in heaven. You may be gone for now but not forgotten for we shall see each other again in heaven one day. Rest now in peace!! Love you always and forever!
