Escobar , Maria T.Maria T. Escobar, age 81, a longtime resident of Norwalk, passed away on September 28, 2016 at Yale New Haven Hospital. Maria was born in La Calera, Colombia to Jose Escobar and Rosa Maria Venegas. Maria is survived by her son George Escobar and his wife Ximena of Bethel, CT. She is also survived by her 4 surviving siblings all whom reside in Colombia, Alvaro Escobar, Aura Maria Escobar, Claudina Escobar and Luis Maria Escobar. She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Angela Celeste, Marco Dante and a large extended family. She would most like to be remembered as a faithful servant of God and one of Jehovah's Witnesses since 1976. A service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 126 Newtown Ave, Norwalk at 11:00 AM.
