Pearl Blau Bernstein

Pearl Blau Bernstein died December 20, 2011 at the Tandet Center in Stamford, Ct. Pearl was born in Yonkers,NY December 26 ,1916 to Benjamin and Nettie Schwartz Blau. She was married to Joseph Bernstein (deceased) and moved to Stamford where she lived for over 70 years. They had 2 daughters Barbara Novak (Larry) and Carol Barbosa(Dr. Jerry) of St. Petersburg Florida besides her daughters she is survived by 6 Grandchildren-Robin and Irwin Nack of Chappaqua NY,Brad and Caryn Novak of Elsted, England and Debby and Chris of Stamford, Ct. Julie and Jason Birnbaum of Austin, TX , Jenny Barbosa of LA and Michael and Lauren Barbosa of Florida. She had many great grandchildren-Samantha and Adam Nack, Cayden and Jordan Birnbaum,Anne Novak, Jacob and Lucas Vellozzi. Her granddaughter Jessica Nack deceased her and did her brother Irving and sisters Helen, Thelma and Lee. Pearl and Joe Bernstein owned and operated G & B Dodge and Rambler and developed several real estate properties in Stamford. She was active in Hadassah and her girls PTA organizations as well as being a member of

Agudath Sholom and the former High Ridge CC. Her sweet kind demeanor made her a real Pearl.who was a devoted wife, mother, grandma and great grandmother.

A graveside service will be held ( Today) December, 22, 2011 at 1 PM at Agudath Sholom Cemetery on Westhill Road Stamford, CT
