

SANDRA HINTON was a resident of Stamford, Connecticut for 52 years. Mrs. Hinton was born November 03, 1950 to the late Jimmy Hill and Leola Silver of Aliceville, Alabama. She departed this life on September 24, 2018 at St. Camillus Nursing Center in Stamford, Connecticut where she battled a brief illness.
In 1966 Sandra moved to Stamford, CT with her True Love and husband Mr. Eddie Clarence Hinton Sr. Mrs. Hinton worked faithfully for “Dixon Sintaloy, INC.” for over twenty years and another ten years for “Pitney Bows”; which she loved both dearly. Sandra could accomplish anything she set her mind to do. She built her family culture around southern cuisine and hospitality. Holidays were Sandra favorite, she enjoyed cooking personalized dinners for her family with Love! Sandra loved her hot cup of coffee “anytime” while sitting in front of the tv while watching her favorite shows. Sandra loved Life, a day trip to the Casinos was one of her favorite pass time activities.
Three siblings have preceded her in death Eloise Clark, Jimmy Hill Jr. and Georgia Mae Hinton.
She leaves in fondest memory: One daughter Leola Melissa Hinton-Brand (Charles), Stamford CT; One son Eddie Clarence Hinton Jr. Aliceville, AL; Three grandchildren Charles Brand Jr., Denise Brand and Ashanti Brand all of Stamford, CT; One great grand-daughter Olivia Brand-Taylor of Stamford CT; Three sisters Helen Billups, Annette Smith, and Joyce Lavender; One Aunt Annie Pearl, the sister in-law of; Joe Hinton, Frank Linton, Haywood Linton, Willie Linton, Delois Henderson, Helen Brown, and Pinkie Johnson, God-daughter Cassandra Hinton and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family would like to THANK everyone for their prayers and support through this time of grievance.
