Sarah T Davis

She was born October 20, 1930 in Camden, South Carolina. She was the only child of the late Willie Baskin and Elizabeth Shannon Baskin.

Upon graduation she moved to Stamford, CT in 1949. She then met and married James Davis III and from this union were born two children Reverend Dr. William N. Davis and Bernadine E. Davis Jerry.

Sarah retired from Capitol Records. She was a faithful member of the FT MBC and former member of the Women’s Circle Inn Club.

Sarah is survived by her husband James of 71 years and her children, Reverend Dr. William N Davis (Barbara) of Norwalk, and Bernadine E. Jerry (Ralph) of Bridgeport, CT.

She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, one brother in law, Fred Middleton and a host of cousins and friends, and a very special friend, Mrs. Polly Williams.

Her family will receive friends beginning at 11 am on February 12, 2021 at the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer St., Stamford.
