She was predeceased by her husband Merrill Stone, and her parents, many sisters and brothers. Shirley was the last in her generation, the youngest of eight siblings, and the daughter of the late David and Rose Simon Samuels. Surviving are her daughter, Roslyn Stone-Pollock (Michael) and her son, David Stone(Christine). She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Steven, Jason, and Brian Stone, and Daniel and Jennifer Pollock, as well as five great-grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews.
Born in Kingston, New York, for many years she lived in Fresh Meadows, NY.
