After graduating from Stamford High School, Thomas entered the U.S. Marine Corp where he became an aviation mechanic. Following his service, he continued his education at Parson’s School of Design where he graduated with honors. Walther Thompson and BBDO where he helped build high profile brands like Ivory Snow, Scope, and Smirnoff Vodka and was instrumental in creating corporate identity programs for major firms like Proctor & Gamble, and General Foods. It was here that he held two visual and industrial design patents.

Over his 40-year career Thomas created and launched more than 500 trademarks, brand marks, product images, and package designs.
