

Our beloved Venus Star Davis Beach transitioned peacefully into eternal life on Tuesday, April 28, 2026.
Venus Star Davis Beach was born on October 16, 1959, in Stamford, Connecticut. She was the fourth child of the eight children of the proud parents of the late Edmond W. Davis and Lillian P. Davis. Venus was a lifetime resident of Stamford, Connecticut.
An alumnus of the Stamford Public School District, Venus received her formal education at the John J. Ryle Elementary School, Cloonan Middle School, and was the honored graduate of Rippowam High School in 1979. During her tenure as a student at Rippowam High School, Venus served as a member of the Color Guard and participated in visual performances with the school marching band at football games, competitions and parades. During her youth and adolescent years, Venus was also a member of the Stamford Norwalk Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated, which is committed to health and educational development, cultural awareness, civic advocacy and community service.
Following her graduation from high school, Venus pursued a higher educational course of study in the medical nursing field, and fulfilled the requirements to become a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
As a multiskilled healthcare professional, Venus engaged in Private Duty Nursing Care, where she provided support for patients by performing clinical and medical duties under a physician’s supervision.
Raised in a nurturing and hospitable Christian home, Venus committed her life to Christ at an early age and joined the membership of Union Baptist Church in Stamford, Connecticut with her family. She was the first member of her family, among her siblings, to become a member of the Children’s Choir of Union Baptist Church under the direction of Mr. Dan Williams. Throughout her life, Venus maintained a fervent belief in the Word of God. Her favorite passage of scripture was: 1 Corinthians, Chapter 13.
Venus Star Beach was a compassionate and devoted mother to her beloved daughter, Maria Rosa Davis. Venus also maintained a deep and abiding love for her family. She derived immense pleasure from attending the festive and jubilant family gatherings at Thanksgiving, Christmas, and other celebratory occasions during which she could engage in joyful fellowship with her daughter, parents, siblings, and other familial relations.
Venus was a sociable and multi talented individual who possessed an abundance of versatile skills and abilities. She generously embraced others with her warm and endearing smile, her exuberant and vivacious personality and her generosity of spirit. She was an excellent seamstress whose artistry was displayed in the creation of fashionable apparel and other handcrafted items. A devotee of various kinds of music, Venus also delighted in having opportunities to display her aptitude for vocalizing and dancing to her favorite harmonious and melodious selections. And, of course, her penchant for outdoor activity was never more evident than when she went sailing and fishing on her Dad’s boat as she leisurely explored the waters of Long Island Sound and other locations.
Venus Star Beach leaves to cherish her treasured memory:one daughter: Maria Rosa Davis, of Stamford, Ct., four sisters: Cora Davis Mercer of New Haven, Ct., Rosa D. Davis of Stamford Ct., Vanessa Davis Champion (Jeff) of Stamford, Ct., and Tina M.
Davis of Stamford, Ct.; and one brother: Timothy G. Davis (Debra) of Stamford, Ct. and one Sister -in-law: Cynthia Davis of Norwalk, Ct.
She also leaves to treasure her memory: thirteen nieces and nephews:
