Zachary George Lyons

Zachary G. Lyons passed away suddenly on February 8, 2013 at the age of 18. He was born February 13, 1994 in Bridgeport Hospital. Zack was a Graduate of Westhill High School class of 2012. He also attended Norwalk Community College. He enjoyed many activities and was an avid snowboarder, skier, black belt in karate, scuba diver and enjoyed playing guitar and video games. He was always surrounded by many good friends. Zack was baptized into the Christian faith at St Paul’s Episcopal Church in Darien, CT

He is survived by his parents; Craig & Bonnie Grimaldi Lyons of Stamford. One sister; Shannon E. Lyons of Stamford as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition Zack is also survived by his girlfriend, Christina M. Hughes of Stamford. He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents; George W. & Margaret Irving Lyons, his maternal grandparents George J. & Nancy E. Conrad Grimaldi. He was also predeceased by his beloved golden retrievers; Kea & Cassie.

Visitation will be held Friday February 15, 2013 from 3pm to 9 pm at The Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home 2900 Summer St Stamford, CT. A Memorial Service will be held 10 am Saturday February 16, 2013 at St Paul’s Church 471 Mansfield Avenue Darien, CT. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.leopgallagherstamford.com
