Evelyn is survived by her husband, Yates Hallman of Stanley; nieces, Beverly Nunn and husband, Bob of Greensboro, Evelyn Smith of Mt. Pleasant, NC, Elaine Borg of VA, Juanita Campbell of Gastonia and a niece by marriage, Moody Lane.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Community Baptist in Dallas. Rev. Matthew Segal will officiate. Interment will follow at Long Creek Cemetery in Dallas.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Community Baptist Church Building Fund, 823 Dallas Stanley Hwy., Dallas, NC 28034.
