He served in the United States Army during Vietnam. Leroy was a Journeyman with Bob’s Heating & Air for over 40 years.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in passing by his wife, Evone Westberry and son, Johney Westberry.
He is survived by his sons, Leroy Westberry II and wife Casey of Lancaster, SC and Gerald Westberry of Charlotte, NC; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; and life-long friend, Robert Lee of Lancaster, SC.
A visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 9, 2021 in the Brevard Hall at Carothers Funeral Home in Stanley with a service to start at 1:00 pm. A committal service will follow at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery in Mt. Holly.
Serving as pallbearers are Jeff Martin, Reuben Turner, Robert Lee, David Lee and Leroy Westberry, II.
