Adam is survived by the love of his life, January, and was a proud dad to his two beautiful girls, Sadie Ann and Alicia Jade. Being their father was his greatest joy, and there was nothing in the world he loved more than his daughters.
Born on December 13, 1985, Adam grew up in Staten Island and graduated from St. Peter’s High School before serving in the United States Air Force. He later had a career as a Site Safety Manager.
Adam had a big heart and an even bigger personality. He was the kind of brother, uncle, and friend everyone could count on. He leaves behind his sister, Melissa Orlando, her husband Richard, brother in law Erich Knuth and a whole crew of nieces and nephews—Isabella, Samantha, Sophia, Erich, Matthew, Jacob, Laurel, Jayla, Charlize, Jovanni, Elijah, John, Michael, Anthony, and Jacob—all of whom adored their Uncle Adam. He also leaves behind his sisters-in-law, Ella, Kelly, Jessie, and Laurel, who were not just family by marriage, but truly his sisters in every sense of the word. Adam is also survived by several loving aunts, uncles, and cousins, who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him.
He was a die-hard Knicks and Yankees fan, always ready to cheer (and yell) at the TV. His happiest moments were simply being with his family—laughing, joking, and making memories.
Adam is reunited in heaven with his mother, Barbara Russell, his fathers Frank Landy and Kim Russell, his Irish twin and best friend Nicole Russell-Knuth, his beloved son AJ, and his nephew Vincent. We take comfort knowing he is also with his loyal dog Aries, who never left his side in life and is now with him once more.
Adam had a way of making everyone feel welcome. To him, friendship knew no boundaries. He loved people for who they were, and that love came back to him tenfold.
Adam’s memory will live on in the laughter of his daughters, the love of his wife, and the hearts of everyone lucky enough to have known him.
