Alan Rodgers, age 59, of Staten Island, New York, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024. Born on Staten Island, Alan dedicated many years of his life as a school fireman for the New York City Department of Education, leaving behind many great friends.
Alan cherished his family and friends above all else, finding his greatest joy in spending quality time together, especially upstate in the Adirondacks. He was an avid fan of the New York Rangers and Washington Redskins. Alan loved nothing more than sitting outside with his neighbors and spending time with his loyal dogs Sam, Baby, and the late Stewie. Alan is survived by his devoted wife and best friend Marie, loving children Lacey, AJ, and Nicholas, as well as his daughter in law Andrea, mother Alberta "Bunny", sister Debra, brother Scott, sister-in-law Deirdre, and niece Anna.
A visitation will be held in Alan's honor on Thursday, August 1, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and then 7:00 to 09:00 PM at Casey-McCallum Rice Funeral Home, 30 Nelson Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10308.
Alan will forever live on in the hearts and memories of his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
