Alma Piombino

Alma Piombino, 88, of Staten Island, New York passed away at her home on June 2, 2021. She was born Alma Pisani in Brooklyn, to her parents Louis and Edith Pisani, and dearly loved her older sister Alida and younger brother John. After graduating from New Utrecht High School she worked at several companies including McGregor Clothing and eventually became an executive administrative assistant. She was very happily married to Frank Piombino and with him enjoyed traveling, playing cards, and socializing with their many friends. She also had a love of opera and dancing. Family was always central in her life and she loved gatherings at holidays and other celebrations. She is survived by her nieces and nephews Toni Anne Coville, Frank DiMino, John DiMino, Jacqueline Pisani-Burke, Paul Pisani, and Andrea Pisani.

A visitation for Alma will be held Friday, June 4, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Casey McCallum Rice South Shore Funeral Home, 30 Nelson Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10308. A funeral service will occur Saturday, June 5, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Holy Child Church, 4747 Amboy Road, Staten Island, NY 10312. A committal service will occur Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 12:30 PM at St Charles Cemetery, 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735.
