Born on Staten Island, Anna lived most of her life in Castleton Corners. She received a bachelor's degree in finance from the College of Staten Island and was bureau chief at the NYC Comptroller's Office. She retired in 2008 after 20 years.
She is survived by daughter, Karen A. Marotte Virgintino; son-in-law, Anton V. Virgintino; grandchildren, Frederick Lichota, Alexandra Virgintino, Samantha Virgintino and Melissa Marotte, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Anthony J. (Buddy) Marotte Jr. in 2011, and granddaughter, Megan E. Marotte in 2013.
Visitation is on Jan. 18 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Jan. 19 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Casey Funeral Home. Funeral Mass is on Jan. 20, at St. Teresa Church, Victory Blvd., at 10:45 a.m. Burial is at St. Peter's Cemetery.
