

Enjoyed music, square dancing, and walks in Silver Lake Park
Anne Louise Martino died Thursday, March 1, 2018, at the age of 95.
She was born in 1922 on Staten Island, daughter of James and Catherine Rautenstrauch. After graduating from Port Richmond High School, she worked in Manhattan.
Anne married Joseph Martino in 1943 on Staten Island at Blessed Sacrament Church. The couple lived most of their lives on Cary Avenue in West Brighton and raised two children, Joseph and Karen. They enjoyed taking walks in Silver Lakes Park. Anne was a parishioner of Olivet Presbyterian Church. Anne liked music and enjoyed square dancing when she was young. Since 2005, Anne resided at Egger Nursing Home and was involved in many activities there.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Joseph, in 1999. Her daughter, Karen, died a few years ago.
Anne is survived by her son, Joseph; daughter-in-law, Heidi; her grandchildren, Joseph, Kari and Jason; and great-grandchildren.
A wake will be held at Harmon Funeral Home on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral is Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Olivet Church, with a burial following at Moravian Cemetery.
