Arthur J. Silva

On August 17, 2021. Born and raised on Staten Island to Catherine and Arthur Silva, he and his wife Lorraine moved to Howell, NJ in 2019.

He was a graduate of Curtis High School, then served in the US Marine Corps in

Vietnam as a lance corporal. He was a member of the Marine Corp League and the

Vietnam Veterans of America.

He worked his way up from a Computer Programmer at the former Lennox & Lennox to a Systems Analyst working at JP Morgan Chase for many years before retiring in 2005.

He was an avid Yankee and Giant fan and greatly enjoyed going to all of his grandsons

football, lacrosse, basketball and baseball games.

He and his wife Lorraine loved traveling to Italy, France and Spain as well as many trips to the Caribbean, Bermuda, and Mexico. He especially enjoyed taking many cruises and trips to Disney World with his children and grandchildren.

Arthur is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years Lorraine (LaMorte), loving children Jennifer McDonald (Timothy) Arthur Jr.(Deirdre). Cherished grandfather of Timothy McDonald Jr., Matthew McDonald and Christopher Silva and a sister Arlene DeJulio of Cape Canaveral, Fl.
