

Carmine was born in Brooklyn, New York on August 14, 1950 and made his home in Sunnyside, Staten Island where he built a beautiful life centered around family, faith and contribution.
He was the beloved husband of Carole Giambrone, with whom he shared 47 wonderful years of marriage filled with love, partnership, and countless cherished memories.
Carmine was a proud and devoted father to Stephen and Craig, and a loving father-in-law to Amanda. He was an adoring grandfather to Jack and Lillian, who brought immeasurable joy to his life. He is also survived by a wonderful family of 12 brothers and sisters and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will miss him deeply. He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Rosario and Maddalena whom he cared for with extraordinary devotion.
A man of deep faith, Carmine was a devoted parishioner of St. Teresa’s for over 40 years, where his faith remained a constant source of strength throughout his life.
In his tradition of service, Carmine started his career with United Airlines serving on thousands of flights over 10 years before building an accomplished career in accounting and insurance with Peat Marwick, Arthur Andersen, MetLife and Guardian Life. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Carmine earned a Master of Business Administration from St. John’s University, reflecting his lifelong commitment to learning and excellence. He received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Cathedral College of the Immaculate Conception in Queens, New York.
Outside of work, Carmine embraced life with enthusiasm. He loved cycling, golf and horse racing and he approached all of life with energy, humor, and warmth. Above all, Carmine’s greatest pride and deepest joy was his family. Though he will be profoundly missed, the memories he created and the love he gave will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew him.
Visitation will be held at Casey Funeral Home, 350 Slosson Ave, Staten Island, NY 10314, US, on May 21, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and again from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will take place at St. Teresa of the Infant Jesus Roman Catholic Church, 1634 Victory Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10314, US, on May 22, 2026, at 9:30 am, followed by a Committal Service at Moravian Cemetery, 2205 Richmond Rd, Staten Island, NY 10306, US, on May 22, 2026, at 11:00 am.
