Edward Mazza, native Staten Islander, passed at Staten Island Hospital due to COVID-19 complications. He was born in Port Richmond, a retired correction officer and former bar owner of the Mazza Cell and Pepper's Bar.
He was predeceased by his wife of 21 years, Irene Mastropietro, in January 2020. He leaves behind beloved brother, Carmen, and sister-in-law, Betty Mazza; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John and Sandra Mastropietro, and Michelle and Rick Caliri. He was a loving uncle to Thalia Mazza, Brenda and Lenny Ciurcina, Great Uncle to Carmine Mazza and Joseph Ciurcina, and the late Anthony Mazza.
