

Beloved daughter, sister, aunt, native Staten Islander Elizabeth A. Russell, 57, of Port Orange, Florida, passed away on September 14, 2021 after a long illness. Born in Staten Island, NY, Elizabeth attended St. Sylvester's Elementary School, St. Peter's High School for Girls and received an Associate's Degree in Business Administration from St. John's University. "Elizabeth was a free spirit and brought much laughter and joy to her family. She loved the beach and animals and enjoyed being surrounded by her many nieces and nephews," said her brother Albert Russell. "Elizabeth always put others first. She was sensitive to people's needs, whether that was picking out the perfect birthday card or staying in touch with her family members," said her father, John W. Russell, Jr. She is survived by her father, John W. Russell, Jr. (Lorraine) of Randall Manor, brother Albert B. Russell of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and uncle James Russell (Elaine) of Manalapan, NJ. She was predeceased by her mother, Virginia Maher and her brother John Russell, III. Family will receive visitors at the Harmon Funeral Home, Sunday October 3rd 2-4 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, October 4th 10AM at Blessed Sacrament RC Church. Interment to follow at Moravian Cemetery.
