To the Diamond family,

Mrs. Diamond was my 5th grade teacher and definitely one of the most important teachers in my life. She was one of the coolest teachers in St. Paul's hands down; back in the day, it seemed like everyone wanted to be in her class! I remember hearing all about her prior to my 5th grade year, and it didn't take long before I wanted to know what the buzz was about. However, when I made it to 5th grade, I soon learned that she was a "tough love" teacher as well. Being the sensitive person I was, I had some struggles in her class. She did not grant me any favors in her class when I cried, nor did she accept any of my lazy/unproductive moments in her class without calling me out (I think she even took away my first and only student of the month award for not doing homework). She was not afraid to be hard when she needed to, and she was one of the few teachers I had that really toughened me up. It wasn't until I got older that I learned to appreciate those moments, and seeing where I am now in life, I know that I wouldn't be the man that I am now without her guidance. Thank God for Mrs. Diamond! 

After not seeing her for at what seems like a decade post-St Paul's, I began to see her and Mr Diamond more often in the last few years, often while shopping at the local Pathmark/Stop & Shop.  I was pleased that she was the same ol' Mrs. Diamond, but this time I was able to laugh with her, reflect on old times, and enjoy her company. She was truly a blessing to be around, and I am truly thankful to God that I got the chance to meet her. 

It hurts that I wasn't able to visit for the visitation, but please know that you all are in my prayers. May God continue to bless you all as Mrs. D. was to many. Sending my love and condolences.

Mrs. Diamond was my teacher at St. Pauls during the time I attended their as a child during the 90s. I remember her teaching me about the many do's and don'ts of childhood. Its been many years since attending St. Pauls and I cherish those memories of my time there. Rest in peace Mrs. Diamond.

Thank You for all you taught me (beyond education) during my time at St.Paul’s. Thank You for your dedication and for the impact you left not only on my life but the lives of many. I will miss seeing you and chatting about my life journey when seeing you in the grocery store :-). You will truly be missed. Heaven gained an angel 😇 . Rest Peacefully 🕊.

Mrs. Diamond was my teacher and basketball coach at St. Paul’s catholic school more than 15years ago. After leaving St. Paul’s it wasn’t until adult hood when I ran into her and Mr. Diamond especially most recently I would see them every few weeks. Each in encounter with her especially recently was full of hugs, kisses, prayers, and I love yous. As a young child You don’t realize the impact the adults around you will have on your life but getting to reconnect with her the last few months and have her tell me how proud of me she was meant the world to me. Mrs. Diamond was an amazing uplifting soul who always seemed to light up the room with her smile. She is someone who definitely had a huge impact on my life as a child and most recently as an adult. She will be extremely missed. My condolences to Mr. Diamond and her family. 

Pat, when I left my 5th Grade classroom in St. Paul's School, I knew that those children would be in loving, capable hands.  I have such wonderful memories of you, your laughter, and your song. CC, April & Allan, I am so sorry. Pat is an amazing woman, wife, mother, teacher,  and friend. An absolutely BEAUTIFUL presence that will be missed in our world. Heaven's choir sounds just that much more beautiful now.

Mrs. Diamond was my fifth grade teacher in 2003. She left such a lasting impression on my heart. She was everyone's favorite teacher. She was so loving, so compassionate and so driven to make sure each and every student she taught succeeded. She loved every student as if you were a child of her own.  Her smile and laughter was contagious! The Saint Paul's family loves the entire Diamond family immensely.  The world has lost a remarkable woman, but Heaven has gained an amazing Angel.

Mrs. Diamond was one of the most, if not the most, iconic teachers in my life. She was someone who brought so much life and charisma into the classroom at St. Paul's. She affected me more than I knew, challenging me to break out of my comfort zone when it came to speaking up in class. Anyone is lucky to have known her as a teacher, mentor, friend, etc. Rest in perfect peace Mrs. Diamond and I continue to pray for God's peace and comfort on the Diamond Family ❤❤❤

I will never forget you. You were exactly what this world needed, you saw no boundaries and lead with LOVE.  You made me smile that big cheeeesey smile every time I saw you...your voice was so calming.... I can still hear it if I stay really quiet.... a professor you truly were.  Thank you for letting me come into your classroom, thank you for making me feel at home, for grabbing my hand and squeezing me every time I saw you (the type of squeeze when you havent seen someone in so long),  thank you for Alans brotherhood and thank you for making me believe in good people. Dear CC, Alan, April,  and family, 
Pat was a beautiful lady who will be sorely missed by her family,  friends,  and every student whose life she shaped. We met when Alan was a student in my 7th grade class at St. Paul, and it was immediately obvious that she and CC were outstanding parents. Pat became even more of a blessing to St. Paul's when she joined our faculty family as a 5th grade teacher. She was loved by all and her passing is our loss and heaven's gain. Sincere condolences to the family.

My deepest condolences to you and your family and Mrs diamond was the sweetest kind caring woman I can ever meet and she always had the right answer and I'm going to miss her so much and her smile always made my day better 

Mrs Diamond taught my three children in different years in 5th grade at the St Paul's school. She was very compassionate and  stern and pushed the children to succeed. We met up with her over the years and each time she saw the children and realized how much they had excelled,  she expressed how proud she  was of them.  She will be truly missed. 


CC, April, Allan, Perry and Rodney:  The precious love of our dear cousin and niece, Pat, will always dwell in our hearts. Her beautiful spirit, smile and strength allow us to always cherish the beloved memories we spent together as a family. It is so heartbreaking to find out that Mrs.Diamond is no longer with us. She had a lovely spirit and to know her was to love her. She was an extrodinary teacher and always knew how to motivate her students to strive for more and to never settle. My heart goes out to her family and I am deeply saddened for there loss.

To The Diamond family, 
I was 20 years old when I met Pat. She was my boss at Goodhue Of then Division 3. I was 20, the same age is April, and Alan was just a kid in the seventh grade. This was 24 years ago. Pat was my work mom, much different than a regular boss, Pat didn’t ever yell at me for doing the wrong thing, She always offered a kind word and a better way to approach things dealing with nine and 10-year-old kids.  I worked with Pat for seven years, as I became a teacher roles reversed, and I offered her advice as she was just starting to become a teacher. She had a unique sense of humor, And always let you know with a look whether you were doing the right or wrong thing. She raised fantastic children and had a great husband. I was proud to have been your colleague and your friend.

I hired Pat as my 4th grade teacher at St Sylevester school - she was wonderful to work with a very gifted teacher - i have such fond memories of her


She was my 5th grade teacher in 99 at St Paul's catholic school she was such a beautiful soul and showed me tough love and was being so hard on me in school I didn't understand it then but I did as i got older it was because she cared. Mrs. Diamond is one of the reasons I'm the woman I am today she was more then a teacher she was like a second mother to me and she will truly be missed S.I.P Mrs.Diamond i love you and my family and i send our condolences to your family ❤  Hough family

My consolences are with you guys ❤️ Mrs diamond wasn’t my school teacher because i went To trinity luntheran but she was my Goodhue counselor and mentor. Mrs diamond was truly and angel and taught me so much about life and how to treat people and made me want to work at Goodhue which i still Do but she also taught me to be the young woman iam today... i will Never forgot all the good times we had at Goodhue together and all the good times we had together at the unity games. Everyday was brought with a smile from mrs diamond no matter what she was going through. She always knew how to make you laugh and smile whenever your were down. If you needed anything she was always there for you.. i will Never forget the most amazing lady i could ever met. She truly lived up to her name a diamond for sure ❤️ I love You MRS DIAMOND you will be truly missed. Mr diamond & family i love You guys and if you need anything my family is always here for you. I’m truly blessed i was Able to see that beautiful smile during this summer when mr & mrs diamond came to visit Goodhue it brought a great big smile to my face and my heart.. rest in sweet paradise my new  Guardian angel 🙏🏽
