I was truly saddened to hear that uncle Philly had passed away. I read it on the internet, but am in Delaware on an anti-money laundering project for the bank at work and could not come to the wake. He was a good man and a real old world craftsman with hands of gold !I telephoned his cousins in Italy and sent them a copy of the obituary via e-mail. They were also saddened by the loss and remember him and aunt Natalie from their visit there in 1982. I will send cousin Laura a card and wish the entire family peace, solace and comfort...knowing you had two wonderful parents and each sister will be there for one another in support during this difficult time. May he now rest in peace.

Philly and Bobby were quite a pair!!!!! 
Their journey through life was so enriched and fun because they had each other. Loyal cherished friends are a treasure in life.  As a child and all my life I loved to hear Philly's unique wonderful laugh echoing in my house and I was elated that Phil and Natalie were over. My honorary "Aunt and Uncle". 
warmed the house with love and fun. They would retell stories how Philly was there the night my parents met and other escapades together ...
These two also together shared their deep faith with others through their volunteer prison outreach work. I so regret not being able to come to the funeral , since we will be in Virginia. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this  time of loss. Our family is happy that 428 Preston Avenue is now inhabited by a clan with children running up and down those steps. My mom is doing well .. I do very much feel her presence and we enjoy outings to Point Pleasant etc. 
So glad you all have the support of each other at this time !!
