She was born in Albania to her parents Mahmud and Hava Bedalli. In Albania, Flutura taught history before eventually moving to the United States. While in the US, Flutura touched many lives as a caregiver to the elderly. Everyone who knew Flutura knew she fiercely loved her family and would do anything for them. She enjoyed listening to classical music, sipping her cafe, and sitting in nature, whether in her garden or near the water. Of course, Flutura always found time in her busy schedule to stop at a tag sale along the way to wherever she was headed.
She is survived by her husband, Ali; three sons and their spouses/partner, Daniel and Alda Lapa, Arian Lapa and Gigi Mehovic, Edlir and Jessica Lapa; four grandchildren, Alexander, Nikola, Adaline, Anri; brothers and their spouses and sisters, Asim and Tania Bedalli, Dylbere Bedalli, Natasha Bedalli, Ylli and Mimosa Bedalli, Skënder and Snezhana Bedalli; several nieces and nephews; many cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother Tomorr Bedalli.
