Born Frances Veronica Marusak (daughter of Polish Natives, Rozalia & Joseph) she grew up in Elm Park where she was a student and long time parishioner of St. Adalbert’s Church.
Fran loved to sing, and was a big fan of country music. In her earlier years she performed in the Colony Club where she recorded her first song SI Baby with the praise of Dottie West. The majority of her life was spent in West Brighton as a homemaker to her three children. She enjoyed dancing, playing bingo, trips to Atlantic City, word search and watching all of her favorite soap operas. She was an unapologetic cat lover, with many of her own and a warm heart that went beyond. Fran had a flare for style and accessorizing. Her love for fashion always shined through. She was always known by her friends and family of not leaving the home without her lipstick, rouge, hair and nails all done up. Most of all she loved to be and spend time with her family, sharing her love of her Polish heritage and fondness of kielbasa, pierogi’s and stuffed cabbage.
She is survived by her three loving Children, sons, Joseph Fumando, Michael Huminski (Linda) and daughter, Jean Ann Givner (the late Huey).
