Francis E. Casciani

Fran worked for many years as a letter carrier, custodian, and most notably having a successful business in C&C Painting along with his brother Matt. He took great pride in all of his work, especially his work ethic that drove him to provide for his family. He was a proud husband, father, son, poppop, uncle and brother, and his dedication to his loved ones never wavered.

Family and friends were everything to him, and he found immense joy in spending time with his loved ones. Sundays were his favorite day of the week which was when he would make lasting memories with his children, grandchildren, and family.

In his free time, Fran had a deep passion for fixing everything and anything. He especially enjoyed extra long weekends at the beloved River House of John and Vicki, spending time laughing and making memories.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years(together since 16 years old) Denise, his children Stephanie and son in law Tim, Kristen, Ryan and his future daughter in law Jessica, his grandchildren Jaxon, Brinley and Luke. He is the youngest of 10 children; all boys expect for one sister, Mary Margaret. He has a deep love all his nieces and nephews, his god children, Matthew, Jenna and Lauren and his great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Margaret and Alfred Casciani, brother, William Casciani and mother in law Patricia DeMaria.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Fran’s life at a visitation on Monday, February 17th from 4p-8p, Tuesday, February 18th from 2p-4p and 7p-9p at Casey McCallum-Rice funeral home at 30 Nelson ave Staten Island NY 10308. A Mass will take place on Wednesday, February 19th at 11A at St. Clare Roman Catholic Church.

Fran will forever be remembered for his kindness, his sense of humor, and his unwavering love for his family.
