

Frank was the beloved son of the late Stanley and Catherine Peshla. He is survived by his loving daughters, Sharon Peshla and her partner, Tim Long; and Amy Iannone and her husband Matt Iannone. He was also a loving grandfather to - Anthony, Catherine, Faith, Serena and Lucas. Frank’s family was the center of his world, and he took immense pride in their accomplishments and happiness.
Frank enjoyed a long and honorable career as a retired bus operator with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, where he was known for his strong work ethic and reliability.
In his retirement, Frank embraced the hobbies that brought him the greatest joy. He loved fishing and boating, and cherished the many trips he took with friends over the years. He also developed a passion for photography, capturing the beauty of the world around him. A competitive spirit guided his interest in long-range rifle shooting, which he pursued at the Richmond Boro Gun Club on Staten Island.
Frank was extremely handy and could fix or build just about anything. He found peace in gardening and was happiest when spending time outdoors. Above all, he will be remembered as a very giving man—someone always willing to lend a hand, share his knowledge, or help a friend in need.
Frank’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be held at Casey Funeral Home, located at 350 Slosson Ave, Staten Island, NY, 10314, on February 24, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and again from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
The funeral service is scheduled for February 25, 2026, at 9:30 am at St. Teresa of the Infant Jesus Roman Catholic Church, located at 1634 Victory Blvd, Staten Island, NY, 10314.
The committal service will take place on February 25, 2026, at 11:45 am at St. John Cemetery, located at 80-01 Metropolitan Ave, New York, NY, 11379.
